new course following my research, with monthly visual webcasts

My 2025 course begins April 7 and runs through Dec. It includes photo essays, articles, videos, excerpts from my unpublished books, and audio commentaries on cultural treasures, archaeological finds, and historical analysis.

The monthly visual webcasts will include:

• Ceramic Scriptures of Signs
  Diabolism: Ideology of Conquest
  Ethiopia
  Ancient Colombia / Ecuador
  Ancient Iberia (Spain)
  Ancient China
  Totonacapan and Téenik (Eastern Mexico)
  Live topical discussions (on witches; an "Ask me anything")

The course will also post advance excerpts from my books ("When They Smashed the Goddesses: Cultural Repression and Resistance"; and later this year, excerpts from Women's Power in Greek Patriarchy)

We'll continue our survey of matricultural societies and the historical processes of patriarchalization and colonization.

I'll post chapters from Magna Mater, Paulianity and the Imperial Church, with timely attention to authoritarian regimes and state religion (a topic also covered in the Diabolism webcast).

We'll be revisiting the Wu (priestesses/ shamans) and their intersection with Daoist ceremony and inner work.

We'll also look at archaeology in eastern and western Mexico (not the usual emphasis on Maya country and central plateau).
