Phase I of the reconfiguration is almost complete; what's next
Links for all the image tiles are now active on the Suppressed Histories home page! Links on the Articles page are working, just have to resolve some jpg links. All of the excerpts from Secret History of the Witches are in, and the videos too (those embeds do take a while to load into the page; fix a cuppa).
In other words, Phase I is almost finished. Phase II will involve integrating all this existing material into the database of migrated photo essays from the Suppressed Histories FB page (come visit if you’re on FB), along with articles from my blog, substack, and archived courses.
Once all that content is loaded into the database, Phase III will be tagging all that content by subject and place, and generate links into navigation pages. They will finally make what is in the site visible and open for exploration.

Mothers (and social motherhood), providers, foragers, farmers, builders, tent-makers, weavers, tanners, potters, basketmakers. Temples, natural sanctuaries, megaliths, statues, reliefs, scrolls, codices, painted hides, incised calabashes, sacred signs.
Analysis of patriarchalization as a historical process, and its entanglement with war, slavery, class hierarchy, empire, and colonization. Attention to mother law / matricultures, cooperative, egalitarian and non-state societies, spiritual philosophies grounded in Nature and relationality.
The workings of male domination, misogynist ideology, class systems, slave-trafficking, racialized caste, settler colonialism, racism, genocide, femicide, witch hunting, religious and ethnic persecution.
Resistance movements, women warriors, amazons, female rebels, witches, heretics, freethinkers, scientists, philosophers, writers, artists, martial artists, activists for justice, rematriation and Indigenous sovereignty, Earth and Water protectors, global women’s movements ... There's more but I better stop there.
I can’t wait to see the work of 57 years sorted and grouped by subject. What was ephemeral, scattered, down social media timelines, will be published in a new format, organized. The bulk of iceberg, under the waterline, will become visible.
I’m really looking forward to this. The missing link.
